I'm a self-taught artist. For me, art is just my nature. It's a necessary thing. It’s something that I don’t separate from myself. It’s part of who I am.  

I can remember when I first started dabbling in art. Like many things, it was something that I just decided to try one day...  but unlike many things, creating art actually stuck. :) I've never really thought of myself as an actual "artist" but for as long as I can remember I've always loved to create, and I've always been pulled towards the creative world; music, fashion, entertainment.

There are so many wonderful things about art. I love the challenge of creation, the spark of an idea and the (often laborious) process that leads to the birth of something beautiful. I love the failures, the paint spills, the 'I worked on this for 8 hours and still can't quite get it right', and the happy accidents just as much as I love the smell of varnish, a new tube of paint and the promise that lies in a fresh blank canvas! In art, just as in life, there is beauty in every single aspect... You just have to open your eyes and see it.
